Each photographer has a different idea about their particular goal when capturing an image. I think of each photograph I take as a portrait (I don't shoot "studio" portraits). As these shots are done "on the fly", every shot is different. There are preferred angles, lighting, backgrounds, and other variables, but, like all other photographers, I try to do the best I can with the conditions that prevail.
